Introduction:
Sight Flow Indicators allow visual observation of flow in pipelines. They are available in multiple types to suit different flow conditions.
Types of Sight Flow Indicators:
• Full View Type: Assembled with tubular borosilicate glass; used where negligible pressure drop is required; simple construction.
• Flapper Type: Suitable for horizontal & vertical pipelines with upward flow; indicates flow via flapper position; can be used for gases & slightly opaque solutions.
• Drip Type: Best for vertical downward flow; useful in intermittent flows like distillation; unobstructed design.
• Rotary Type: Rotating wheel; suitable for dark or opaque solutions; motion of wheel indicates flow; adaptable for transparent solutions & gases.
• Ball Type: Ideal for air or fluid flow; no wear components; domed sight glass allows 360° visibility; easy to observe from elevated positions.
• Body: ASTM A216 GR WCB, ASTM A351 GR CF8, ASTM A351 CF8M, Brass, Cast Iron, Gun Metal
