Pressure Transmitter
The pressure sensor used is Silicon Pizzo Resistive sensor. Pizzo resistive material changes it’s resistance when pressure is applied. This property is used for pressure measurement.
The sensor package consists of a stainless steel diaphragm, a silicon pressure die and silicon oil for filling. The pressure exerted on the diaphragm is transferred via silicon oil on the sensor.
The change in resistance is amplified using electronic circuit to give signal output proportional to the pressure
