Bye pass Rotameter with Carrier ring (BPC series)
Bye pass rotameters are used for measurement of higher flow rates when using inline flow meter is not possible. It works on the principle of measuring differential pressure created across restriction.The construction includes an orifice plate installed between either carrier ring or orifice/pipe flanges. The Hi/Low pressure taps of carrier ring/orifice flange/ pipe are connected to indicating Rotameter with a help of impulse tube arrangement. The Indicating Rotameter can be of Glass or Metal tube Type.

- Primary Element: Orifice plate with Carrier ring

- Carrier Ring: CF8, CF8M, AISI SS 316, 304, PTFE
- Indicating Rotameter: SS 316 for Metal Tube Rotameter, MS/CS/SS for Glass tube Rotameter

- Pressure Tap: Corner Taps on carrier ring
- Accuracy: +/-2% FS
- Rangeability: 5:1 or 3:1 depending on Indicating Rotameter

- Differential pressure can be selected based on operating pressure
